The Talent Premiere Showcases are a very "exciting"   forum formulated to bring "aspiring" new performers a platform to be “seen” and “heard”. Ms. Dawn Christian, is one of the Director(s) of the Modeling Division for Astro/Genesis Records and Astro/Fashonne Cosmetiques & Designs and she is also a upcoming talented "fashion designer".  She trains the models for the Modeling Segments of the showcases to strut their stuff on the runway.  She is a force to be reckoned with.  Ms. Christian is the driving force of Astro Genesis Records' Modeling Division and a force to be reckoned with in the fashion industry.  Astro/Genesis Records is very pleased to have her aboard their staff of professionals and indeed she is one.  We now introduce to Ms. Alethea Gallo as a "newly" added Modeling Director for the Fashion Division.

The showcases also incorporate kids which get a chance as well to show off  their talents in the “The Star Kid™ Talent Premiere Showcases” designed primarily for “talented” kids to showcase their “gifted abilities” to be signed to the record label as well if they have exceptional talents in "singing", "rapping", "dancing" and "modeling" and even some have talents for becoming Kid'z talented fashion designers like "Ms. Jada" whom is a young talented fashion designer . Also, "Little Ms. Destiny" only 9 years old have proven to be a young talented producer which Astro/Genesis Records will be using some of her tune titles for their childrens' debut album called "Just For Kids -- We are People Too!"

The showcases serve as an "excellent" medium for the public to see the artists and to respond to them in a setting where they can all “interact” and the audience gets the chance to select those artists that they feel have “star potential” for the record label along with a selection of judges that Astro/Genesis Records may incorporate.  The good thing about Astro/Genesis’s Records showcases is that you are performing for the record label itself and not waiting for a record label to pick you up for a record deal. 

Successful efforts exemplified through Astro/Genesis Records' “talent showcases” have proven to be a “positive” forum for aspiring “new” artists and producers to be seen and heard.  This resembles today’s “American Idol”™ and Tyra Bank’s “American Top Model”™.  But, because Astro/Genesis Records is an entity all to themselves, they have the option of selecting their own artists right away through their own showcases.  The difference with Astro/Genesis Records’ showcases is that they not only incorporate R&B, Pop, Dance, Country, Gospel but they also give rappers, coming from the Hip-Hop, urban markets a try at getting a deal too!

Plus, they select talented Dancers & Models for their upcoming "music videos".  Actors and Actresses, Comedians and Poets all become apart of their showcases  for future selective picks for Astro/Genesis Records upcoming independent films and "music videos".  Because Astro Genesis Records is an independent entity, selecting their own recording artists to record directly for the record label, as well as songwriters and producers and to select their own "Dancers" plus utilizing the “Models” to grace the covers of  their own “new” up and coming cosmetic line called “Fashonne Cosmetiques”, this all serves as a wonderful opportunity for most talented individuals who would not normally get a chance to be seen and heard a chance to shine.  Astro/Genesis Records is constantly searching for "new” fresh faces and talent to help build ASTRO/GENESIS RECORDS ENTERTAINMENT™which will embody, music, videos, film, movies, cosmetics and fashion.

 This “public forum” involves a successful avenue for up and coming “new” artists and producers to be seen and heard.  The desire to see showcases like these serve as a platform for “new” and “upcoming” talent to be signed to a record label deal and "new" talented actors and actresses selected to become pioneers for “new” movies and films is a great incentive for “new” up and coming performers, singers, rap artists, songwriters, producers, models, dancers, and even actors and actresses and comedians a place to shine.

Diana Ray, Public Relations & A&R Director of Astro/Genesis Records and their support staff speaks for the showcases as “a long-term commitment for enabling “new” up and coming talent be seen and heard on a platform that promises them a chance to expose their ‘god-gifted’ talents on a wider scale.  “These showcases will be a reminder of the commitment Astro/Genesis Records has to look at aspiring 'new' artists, producers, songwriters, models, dancers, actors, actresses and upcoming comedians with a renewed ‘vigor’ and ‘vitality’on an annual basis thus keeping abreast of the changing times.  To get the "word out", Astro/Genesis Records spends long hours in preparation to making these showcases “exciting” and “enjoyable” for the public.

Astro/Genesis Records sponsors the showcases utilizing a select panel of judges to rate each performer on a scale from "stage presence"  to "audience's responses".  At times, talented musicians, producers and songwriters are also used in the rating process to judge the selection of “original” music selections that are written by “new” artists.  In conjunction with these showcases, at times well-known radio personnel are also used as "key figures" to help promote the showcases and make them even more  exciting!

ASTRO/GENESIS RECORDS will continue to host these types of showcases with the aid of music industry people, radio personnel, talented musicians, producers, and songwriters and, of course, the public audience as "the key link" to selecting up and coming "stars".  The question is "What do the public want to see and hear?”  After all they buy the records.  This will be a continuing

“key factor” in helping Astro/Genesis Records determine who they want to sign to their “new” up and coming record label, as their showcases are based on that key note from the very “beginning” of their existence and their talent showcases help determine that along with the aid and the public audience.

The successful showcase forum provides much anecdotal evidence that “aspiring” talent have so much to offer and that showcasing is a good "marketing tool" for record companies because you can hear and see the performer interact with the public audience and see how the public audience responds back to the performer which gives you a first-hand overwhelmning “powerful inkling” as to the future potential of a “budding star”.  Unanimously and unhesitantly, Astro/Genesis Records agree that given the platform for the musical talent to evolve, both young and old, the inclusion of the "public audience" provides a "winning combination" for future stars to be born!
